Since rel004 is less laggy and it is also easy to script and also there is more client side in rel004. Chuck Norris said that he doesn't want to update because sliding would not work in 004. I am amazed that iceflake is a part of VK staff and chuck didn't ask him.

Agree, Instead of complaining about REL004. Why don't you play others ? like Parkour, Gungame, Race, DeathRace or edit your property. VKS server doesn't only for DM-ing.

Well a lot of people have stopped playing anyways. Not sure if they quit VC-MP or just changed server. We are not even sure what the future of VC-MP will be. If the masterlist and the forum shutdown, it will be kinda hard to get new people as well. I will probably continue scripting the server, but it isn't much fun anymore. I don't have many ideas, but I did get an idea last sunday so we will see how that turns out.
