[Denied] Lottery Ticket!!

What about lottery in the game. Many players in the game need cash to buy vehicles or properties and many want cash for duel. What about adding daily lottery?? It is give chance to everyone to get cash. I think it will be good!!

There are plenty of ways to get cash in VKs:

- Minigames (Shooting range, taxi)
- jobs (lumberjack, garbage man)
- Daily challenges
- DMing
- Asking Stylish for cash.

I can add the lottery but I would need to do some math to make sure it works just like in real Life, which means that you never win Very Happy

I've quite easily explained it.
Killing is taking someone's life. In VCMP, the characters do not have any life in the first place. Therefore, 'killing' in VCMP is not haram.

In VCMP you've a game life which people take from you aka kill you, so what's wrong with gambling with game money.

I don't want to add a lottery system anyways. In VC-MP fake Money can be used to buy fake things. Those things have no value and can't be converted to real Money. That's why I (and most modern countries in the World) think it's okay to do that type of gambling. If the VC-MP Money could be converted to real Money, it would obviously not be okay.

A game is a game and real Life is real Life. In a game it's the character you're playing who is doing the killings. It's also the character you're playing that is gambling. Crystal please find an expert in islam like an old man or something and ask him if it's haram to kill people in-game. Well, it would be fun to gamble with the money, this could help the rich get poor and the poor to get rich. The rich getting poor is a good thing because then it makes them want to earn money again. Like me, I have a lot of money so don't enjoy earning money that much, but if I lost a lot of it in gambling then I would want to earn money again.

To be honest in gambling most people lose more Money statistically. If gambling would turn into a feasible way to make Money, then that would damage the balance of the server.

It could give them the incentive to work their way to the top of the wealth list again. It would also allow other players to make their way to the top since the rich became poor. It's a sort of a cycle, you lose money from gambling, then earn your way to the top again. And for those who can't gamble in real life (not referring to myself Razz

), it would be a fun experience to try.

But I think we can forget this idea because it would be best with GUI and as you said that is Crystal's job and he would never script such a thing. xddd

A 'game life' isn't considered a life because a game character is not conscious at all. That character does not have any free will either. Therefore, that character does not have a life.
2. Game money:
Game money has value. I'm quite sure most of you will be willing to pay $1 to gain $1b of game money. A very small value, but not inexistent. Also, even if you couldn't trade it for real life money, it still has value in the sense that you can use it to buy in-game items.

Even if everyone is willing to do it, then gambling would be only haram ingame if the money we're using ingame was purchased using real money.
