Server Patch 3.6

Note: The scripting for this patch started in April, but I was extremely busy through april to the middle of june, which is why this patch was so late. I am going to go through your suggestions and add a few extra things in 3.6.1. Like skin pickups and team pickups. Expect that patch in 1-2 weeks. Also on july 1st, expect the return of the treasure hunting event after a 1 year hiatus. I am not sure what I will do with the event after that.


Note 2: Hey guys this is the note I wrote after the whole hosting issue thingy. Sorry guys that it took so long. I was eventually able to get a hold of VRocker and he fixed it. I am again so sorry for this. I guess you guys have already seen most of the features but here is the free list. I need to go to bed now so I can't promise that the server will be bug free.

Patch 3.6

General

New things
- An auto triggering of pickups have been added for custom properties, which means that you can make objects move by themselves and also bombs to trigger by themselves.
- Added a command for setting a skin for a property, that everyone who joins the property will get.
- Added a command for turning teams on or off in a custom property, this will allow you to fight anyone you want.
- Added checkpoints for custom properties, which is useful for people who wants to have even more customization for their property. Checkpoints allows a player to use a command to teleport to it, only if they have entered it once. This can be used for jumping events so players can return the latest checkpoint they enter. If you however add 2 checkpoints and someone enters the second checkpoint first, this will allow the player to teleport to both checkpoints.
- Two new races have been added taking place in custom properties.
- Added two new vehicles, available for being purchased in the zone, Carpet and Skateboard.
- A minigame called jumping event, has been added. There are currently 3 jumping events.
- CJ, Hitman and the two new vehicles can be unlocked by completing the jumping events.
- Added a new currency called VK tokens to the server.
- Added two secret doors somewhere in the zone that can be opened by using the new currency.
- Added a function for detecting if you are in the water, I have used it one thing in the patch, but this opens up more uses for it.
- Added a help Icon to all properties, that provides a list of commands and explaination. It's a menu, that only the owner can trigger. If the owner finds it annoying, because they don't need or if they walk in it by mistake use /prophelpdisable on. A message saying something similar to this is also messaged to you when entering it.  The help Icon will also have a section for new commands, so you can find the new ones easier.
- Added a new script which makes it harder to stats pad.



Improvements
- Improved the randomness function on the server, which will hopefully make random things even more random.
- /cc is now an alternative to /clanchat.
- /car and /driver displays the name and HP of the vehicle as well.



Bug fixes
- I found out that some bases in the CTF event were not added properly so I fixed it.
- The disabling editing mode message is no longer an error message.


Event system
There is a new event system in VK that is run by a text bot called Marcus. Marcus will host weekly events, Daily events and also give out special offers. If you compete in Marcus events you will get VK tokens, our new currency on the server.

Weekly events hosted by Marcus:
- The tournament event. Every sunday, Marcus will host two tournament events on sunday both 12 am and 12 pm, server time. The tournament event takes Place in /proploc 35.


Daily  Events hosted by Marcus:
- Every 3 hour Marcus will host property and onehitkill events, where you earn 2 times the cash in a property or the onehitkill minigame. Additionally to that there is also a small chance of VK tokens dropping. The properties are selected, randomly by Marcus. Hopefully Marcus is smart enough to find some good properties.
- Every 3 hours Marcus will also host minigame events. The Winner of the minigame gets some Money + 3 tokens. The rest who just participates gets 1 VK token. The minigames that he is hosting is:
* Jumping events, 3 in total.
* Gun game Heavy weapons and shotguns.
* Capture the flag (everyone in the winning team gets the Money and tokens)
* Last man standing.

New currency
A new currency has been added to VKs called VK tokens. You unlock VK tokens by participating in the events hosted by Marcus. VK tokens can be used for buying cool stuff. Right now until the next patch which will actually release soon, you can use it to unlock two doors at the zone with some rewards waiting for you behind them. The tokens can be viewed in /cash and spent in the /zone only. They will not replace the normal cash at all. More uses will be added for the VK tokens in later patches.




Commands
Here's a list of all the new commands added for the server.

/driver: Displays the driver of a vehicle ID.
/prophelpdisable: Disables or enables the property help pickup for the owners.
/setpropteam: Can be used to disable teams in your property. There are two settings. The normal one and a setting where everyone who joins your property becomes team White = there are no teams.
/setpropskin: Sets a default skin for your property.
/gotoc: Teleports to a checkpoint pickup if you have entered it or any checkpoint of higher order.
/autotriggerpickup: You can now make a pickup out trigger like an invisible player is standing there. You can set how often the pickup trigger and you can also set an offset that will allow you to sync the pickups after each other. If I want to make a line of explosions that will happen every 15 seconds. You can just use different offsets for each explosion and still have the 15 second timer.
/addcheckpointpickup: Will spawn a checkpoint pickup in your property. Please note that if you plan on using 3 checkpoints, that the first one you add will be your first checkpoint and the last one will be your last. So if a player enters the last pickup for example, then he can teleport to the other two as well, even if he has only entered the last pickup. So add them properly.

That's the problem. I add a billion messages giving you guys all the steps how to do something and yet you decide to waste your own time trying to find it yourself. Man there is literally a message when you enter the pickup that says: Disable the helppickup with this command: and after you do it, it says use /saveprop. That's all you have to do.

It's there for the newbies so they can find their commands more easily.

No, i censored the pickups before the patch 3.6.

I Think someone messed with it I forgot to remove the shared owners from the property. Sharabi or Grayson messed with it.

I think i did something wrong and that's why i can't complete the race , i will try tomorrow.
