Well, you have 2 options in front of you. You could ask your ISP for a better broadband plan or opt for a premium VPN. Don't even think of using a freeware VPN software, because it causes ping spikes from time to time. I've been using the premium version of cyberghost for about 2 months now and my ping is much better now.

Is it give same ping everytime? then your net is slow or if it's not sam everytime then it will take sometime and it will be fixed automaticly it happened with me.

As long as the VPN you are using is premium and has a Marseille(a city in France) server, your ping will be better.

Try using LAN connection, not Wifi.
Before has Wifi (ping: 230-280), I changed to LAN, now my ping is 150-200.
Also this worked for me:
Open Regedit, search in Windows Menu "Regedit" open it and goto:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Then search "DhcpIPAddress" (Commonly in the 2th folder inside "Interfaces") and add you IP if Isn't it (See you IP in CMD and type "ipconfig").
Now right-click in "blank space" > New > DWORD (32-Bits) Value.
Value name: TcpAckFrequency
Value data: 1 in Hexadecimal
I hope this work for you. Wink

PD: I using Windows 7.

Because sometimes when the packages are transferred by wifi to transform them packets are lost, that causes delay and produces more ping.

If you're facing packet loss issues then please contact your ISP. By the way have you tried changing your DNS sever in your router page? Try that as well. It should lower your ping. Personally I prefer the Google DNS
DNS 1: 8.8.8.8
DNS 2: 8.8.4.4
Or you could use KOMODO DNS or OPEN DNS as well if you wish, If you want the IP then let me know.
Plus check your firewall if it's blocking the packets. If you've an Antivirus system then maybe it's blocking those packets for security issues. I can offer more help if you wish but I'm too lazy atm xd

If you're using a anti-virus, please disable it.
Anti-Virus usually checks recent files, so the live server chat logs a log.txt, as it logs after every new line of chat, so it's better to turn it off while playing a online game. Hope that helps.
