[Solved for now] ANGEL READ IT Sever down

Well since my 5PM The server was down and the master list, IRC, and vcmp forums was down too, but now after 2 hours the masterlist works, irc and vcmp forum works too, but the server still down, i guess something happen with it e_e like the other time

so e_e upload it plz.

Its 7.49PM on my country e_e around 3 hours down or more until you do something e_e

Sorry guys I've been asleep. Nothing I can do now. I tried restarting it says that his server was unable to connect to a box without ssh or something. I'll Contact Vrocker now and hope that he fixes it.

I know about this box btw; it's the ssh details, the vps user and its pass. So, maybe something wrong with pass or something else. Razz

You should buy your own vps. It's very easy to start a vcmp server.

could not connect ftp can have many reasons and the main one can be port 21 being blocked or something and same for the ssh port 22 can be blocked. no, if you can go and restart your server then his main vps is not down.

I can't restart it. I can login into his VRocker hosting panel using a password. In that panel you can see your information and you got a restart button. When I press the restart button it gives me the ssh error and when I press the FTP button I get an error. So you're saying it can't be anything else?

so, now you can say that his vps on which your scripts are is down! and I think someone is making it down as it cannot be a fault from vrocker side.

Its the second time on this week (As i know) mastelist down amd both times vk server down too so im sure the masterlist syncs with vrocker host e.e

I've used ssh in school. ssh what I know about ssh is that it connects to Another computer securily to me it sounds like the computer VRocker needs to ssh (maybe it's that IP) is down. Yeah but it does seem like someone is either attacking VC-MP and Vrocker or just Vrocker and VC-MP is somehow connected to it. It is also possible that it has something to do with the host of VC-MP or Vrocker.

Let's hope for the best. Not much more we can do now anyways. I've sent VRocker a message, but I'll have to Close down my computer soon. I have to go in 10 minutes. If you or someone else want to open a browser trying to Contact Vrocker at hosting It would be helpful. If he gives you a respond let me know. I won't be able to see the respond.

so, now you can say that his vps on which your scripts are is down! and I think someone is making it down as it cannot be a fault from vrocker side.

Are you sure it didn't just crash and failed to auto-restart when VRocker's website and VC-MP was down?
for that we must first know if vcmp master list syncs from vrocker's host.
btw, i think it didnt crash, as this was 1st time i saw vcmp masterlist down, but listen i am not sure.

I've used ssh in school. ssh what I know about ssh is that it connects to Another computer securily to me it sounds like the computer VRocker needs to ssh (maybe it's that IP) is down. Yeah but it does seem like someone is either attacking VC-MP and Vrocker or just Vrocker and VC-MP is somehow connected to it. It is also possible that it has something to do with the host of VC-MP or Vrocker.

Let's hope for the best. Not much more we can do now anyways. I've sent VRocker a message, but I'll have to Close down my computer soon. I have to go in 10 minutes. If you or someone else want to open a browser trying to Contact Vrocker at hosting It would be helpful. If he gives you a respond let me know. I won't be able to see the respond.

Go to information section, then find the IRC topic. Enter the link and after that remove [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and replace it with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. There should be a guy called VRocker that you press on and select message. Do not put it in the normal chat.

I suggest you to go for DigitalOcean, they're pretty reliable and they're completely cloud based. OVH has cloud based server too, but that's costly and the VPS might lag or get DDos'd. On the other hand, DigitalOcean is completely cloud based, so even if one server goes down all of a sudden( which won't happen normally ), there are other servers which would continue to work and your server will be moved their for sometime

THE BEST IS LEAVE VROCKER and get free hosting from thijn, i never saw his servers being ddosed.
eg: EC, i never saw it down. You have to just PM him on either VU forum or VCMP forum and say him, i want to host my server in your vps(or whatever)
and say: I can also give you $$ but he'll give for free as EC is.

This isn't about performance. This is about security and time. I haven't read the link btw. The price difference isn't that huge and I do Believe making sure the server is on myself requires more of my time.

I can login to VRockers panel, tried logging in through Another website as well. Nothing happens so far with the other website. Try to get a hold him if you can. I've sent him a message however. It didn't work through Another website, tried net2ftp, it took longer than 60 seconds so it stopped.

How do you know that? How sure are you of that?

I hope I secured them, I mostly encrypt the scripts so they can't be edited though. It says could not connect to FTP when I tried to connect. Just speaking out of experience it shoulds like his main computer/server is down. But are you sure?
could not connect ftp can have many reasons and the main one can be port 21 being blocked or something and same for the ssh port 22 can be blocked. no, if you can go and restart your server then his main vps is not down.

PS: I am saying this because it's not the 1st time, you know!

I can't restart it. I can login into his VRocker hosting panel using a password. In that panel you can see your information and you got a restart button. When I press the restart button it gives me the ssh error and when I press the FTP button I get an error. So you're saying it can't be anything else?

i was thinking the same since [VU]Ferrari32 got mad on me few days ago. Just my opinion. im not sure if it real or not.
