/changepickupkey is a great command actually that inspired me to make events using it. but i guess we must have some kind of lock , so when players presses the button while /lockpropkey is on it won't do any action. it fits actually to control the time when to use the key and when not to. Also , /propkeys command to show the pickup ID and the Key it's stick to. so it can help to find IDs easily.

The ability to lock the key is the same as the ability to lock the pickup. There is /lockpickup and /lockpickuprange that you can use to lock the pickup that your key is connected to and thus prevent them from using it.
There is also /addlockpickup and /addlockpickuprange (I think those are the commands).
The pickup ID list for commands and keys is something that I'll definitely will be adding.

Yes angel ks right u actually can do that but i suggest to no message appear angel because when we press the key it spam with the message its locked same remove message when needs an upgrade for pick the pickup

What I have done so people can choose if they want those messages or not is this:
If the pickup is inside a trigger pickup it won't give any messages like that. You can try doing that for now.
