This topic is about spawn protection duration in custom properties only.
/setpropspawnprotectionduration <Prop ID> <time>
Time : 5 seconds (minimum)
         8 seconds
         10 seconds (Maximum)

This command will adjust the duration of spawn protection in custom properties only and will also help to get rid out from spawn campers or spawn killers during the combat.

In what situations (in your own opinion) would a property benefit from having 10 seconds spawn protection and in what situations would it benefit in having 5 seconds?

I am just curious.

Either way sounds like a reasonable suggestion.

The spawn location to every players is middle side of this area.
If X team have 5 players and Y team have also 5 players then they will fight against each other,so there will nothing wrong with that.
But if X team players rises to 7 and Y team players falls to 2,then most of players from X team will only shoot or fire at spawn location to 2 players of Y team.This will result accusation of spawn camping or spawn killing most of time.This 10 seconds of spawn protection will help to  Y team to focus and will have advantage to fight more clearly.
The reason is why I've suggested this command because I want everyone must enjoy the fights.If you want a practical information then I will provide a video soon.

I think that what shadow is trying to say is that it will help to prevent camping. (you know that the people keep shooting at the spawn pickup and when the player comes he gets knocked down and by the time he gets up, his spawn protection turns off and he gets killed)  To prevent that from happening this will be useful.

I guess, 10 seconds is too much. -1 from me. You know that spawnkilling is a rule. You can just report the guy if someone spawnkills you. 10 or upper than 5 is too much. And spawnkilling doesn't happens all the time. And who will wait that much time to shoot? Nobody gives a shit to wait that much. Also, what if you start to shoot before 10 seconds? And the other player shoots you and 0 damage. With 5 seconds that doesn't happens cos it ends at a perfect moment. So, I guess 5 seconds is enough.
