[Accepted] Server Suggestion - /changeteam

Hi gays! as you know that if we want to change our team so we have to reconnect or kill ourself or wait for a nerd who will come and kill us but sometimes it's F*cking make me angry coz when I have a spree and my friends request me to change your team and wear an underwear so I have to kill myself and that's illegal coz suicide is never the answer and I don't want that, a nerd will kill me so angel can you add a cmd that will change our team. It will work something like that /changeteam (team) (skin). If you're thinking that some nerds like you(not you) will abuse this cmd so my friend you are right but don't worry, why so fear when Sami is here I have a solution when a player do /changeteam it will take about 7 or 10 secs to change the team and also add a limit so we could only change our team 2 times and when we will die so it will reset to default.

bro it is rel003 server it is no possible, also dont joke, I recomend you, and can you explain futher exactly how the cmd will work? will it change our team color or skin? but I think skin change swithout dying is not possible. but if you explain some further working, I can give you +1.

Bro, it is possible. It is not related about GUI angel can do it. Let me explain if you have 10 spree and suddenly a fight start and your team mates request to change your team so if such a cmd will have in server so you can easily change your team by just doing /changeteam and it will take about 7 or 10 secs.

Hell, seems like you're genious. Caring about sprees more than rules? Angel would feel lazy to add another rule for this suggestion.

Good suggestion, but how exactly do you want it to work? Like /kill but without actually losing your spree, getting an extra death and such. Or do you want to change it immediately? For example /changeteam <Team ID> <Team Skin>.

The problem with the first one is that spree's will no longer be the same thing, people can save their spree by simply going to the spawn screen (you could pause your game too, but other players can attack you).

The problem with the second one is that it's very unlikely you guys will remember up to 16 team IDs and the skins to be able to change to it through command.

What about a command that sets you to the free for all team? Not very useful if you want to be in the same team as your friend, but very useful for if you're playing a cop and everyone else on the server is a cop as well.

It isn't a good idea because if you had 100 spree for example and there is someone who is going to kill you, you would change your skin to his.

Man, you are becoming genius after getting banned, lol. Well, it's also a good idea but I think it's necessary to die to go to spawn screen but if angel would do this without dying and losing our sprees so it will be good <3.

More Explanation:
Angel is right that no one can remember skin and team ids so we can do it like that if someone type /changeteam so he/she(Kurimi) will get a syntax like /changeteam (player team) player team means that which player team you want to go. Lemme explain it in simple words for example if I'm in free team and bird in team blue(cop) so I will type, /changeteam Thunder_Bird and after seven or 10 secs my team will be changed. If angel will add such a cmd so we will easily change our team without dying and losing our sprees and ofc it will have a limit so nobody will abuse it. About /spawnscreen, it will also be good, just add a limit to it.

how about a cmd that changes our team to a specific player, like /changeteam <playername> , it could take 5 or 10 secs and also we can do it just 1 or 2 times after spawning, sami was on call with me, and he said so after reading yo reply ,as he started a call with his GF, I am here replying you.

I am surprised Thunder_Bird actually made a helpful reply for once. This is probably the best way to make the command, if we are going to make one.

There would also have to be a limit on how many times you can change team as well you being able to back to your original team. If the limit is 1, I could see it not being that useful, but at the same time if the limit is any higher it might be abused by changing your team to the player you're trying to kill everytime. However at the same time there always is a free for all team you can use to avoid this.

Yeah, it will be good. 20 mins will enough. Just clear a doubt if you will make such a cmd so how will it work I means by sending and accepting request like I said in my previous reply and will have a limit like you said 15-45 mins. or we will do /changeteam (player name) and after 7 or 10 secs our team will be changed and after 15 mins we will able to change our team again.

If I make the command it has to be abuse proof. That means that you have to either select free for all team or a player name and then type /changeteam Sami. You will then get the same skin and team as him. If it's a custom skin he is using, that you don't own then you will get the default skin.

After you type the command you will most likely be frozen for 10-30 seconds to really make sure you aren't using this command while fighting someone. So advise with using this command would be to proploc and then lock your property, while you're changing team.

I have added quite a few things to this current patch, so you might have to wait for the next one after that for it to be added.

I am going through old suggestions. I count this one as accepted because we have /respawn now. It does take 15 seconds, but that is to encourage people not to evade and to not change team too often unless they really want to.
