Hotwire Minigame | A Guide to the Event

This is a minigame developed by TdZ.KuRuMi^, in terms of entertaining the citizens of the VKs community with an outstanding event you should definitely try out. Based on this event takes place in a medium-size map (it was mean't to be medium-size however we've barely realized ) called Night Woods, an island full of forest trees with a road around the island in which the fun comes in. The goal for both teams, cops & the criminals, is to capture all the objective points in which are vehicles. In order to fully capture them, the driver must remain in the seat for at least 25 seconds in order to capture it. There will be meter bars above the vehicles in which will indicate how far you've captured the objective. However, hence you'll be driving around to buy some time, you must not forget that the enemy will attempt to either kill or destroy the objective to prevent y'all from winning the game. That's pretty must simple how this game will go, now it's time to get through the procedure.

The Start

Once you've successfully entered the prop, where the event takes place, you'll be given two options as to selecting your team. There isn't much of a difference in both teams so don't think it too hard for making your decision. Just join the team and go with the flow.

Once you've successfully selected your team, now you'll be arming yourself with tons of equipment to help you through the journey. We've skin pickups to indicate your team, weapons that will help you defend and attack, & of course your teammates who'll be assisting you into defeating the other team.


Once both teams are equally balanced, geared up, touched the checkpoint to get to the battlefield quicker, now it's up for the event staff member to ensure everything is all prepared for the game to begin. Once the event staff member makes it to his control panel, he'll commence by wishing the teams luck & letting the game to begin! Once the telepickup is free to touch, you'll be commencing to your bases and getting into the vehicles to rush to the objectives before the enemy does. Now, I believe some people were confused how will we be able to capture the vehicles successfully. Well, to answer your question, first approach to the objective (vehicle) in which there is 3 objective vehicles in the Night Woods map; a BF Injection, motor bike, and the Cuban Hermes. Once you've approached to the vehicle, firstly scout your area before entering your vehicle, otherwise you'll get shot during the ignition of the vehicle & trust me, no one wants to see your head pop off your pedestrian . Once it's clear, quickly hop in your vehicle and drive around the map, whether it's the road or across the forest trees. If the event staff member spots a player that he hopped it in the vehicle, he'll then start the meter bar above the vehicle to indicate the progress of capturing. Once that meter bar is filled up, you're good to go, and now remains the other vehicles.

However, once you get in the vehicle, you'll be warned for getting in it because the enemy will prepare for a counterattack to stop your team from winning. Sure, they may wield M4s, M60s, etc., however, one thing that you guys didn't expect is that there is two trailers both of the edge of the map that holds a Rocket Launcher with containing one chance to go BOOM, thanks to the wonderful update that Angel worked hard on . Note that the Rocket Launcher will be limited to the game to prevent it from being too overpowered so it'll be disabled until the next 30 seconds. If the vehicle gets destroyed or the driver dies, the meter bar will then start to decrease back to zero until a new driver awaits. To win this game, the team must capture all three objective vehicles without dying which makes it fun.

Rules

• A player isn't allowed to go out of boundaries such as outside the islands to the ocean. The host will be asked to that player to move back to his spawn or else a propkick.
  
• Players aren't allowed to use many vehicles to block the road to prevent the driver to continue. The host will be asked to destroy those vehicles or it will result a disqualification of the event.
  
• You cannot camp at the enemies base and it'll result an instant disqualification.
  
• If a player has been in the host lobby for more than 10 seconds after the game started, the host will prop kick them unless they're having an issue with instructions.
  

To end with, the event will last for about 5 minutes to continue the full action-pack. If no team had captured all the objective vehicles after the 5 minutes ended, it will result a draw and no reward is given. That's all I have so far. This event is located at proploc 336. Don't worry because when it's your night here is morning and when it's your morning here is night. So, it will not be over 12 am of night.

I ain't letting nobody allow to kill players while the minigame is inactive. :c

Everyone is highly recommended in reading this topic before playing the minigame so we don't waste time explaining during the Hotwire event.

I've hosted more Heist events than Hotwire although Heist was created early than this current one. Last time I hosted Hotwire was a few days ago in which unfortunately led to a failure because many players were confused. However, we went with the flow & apparently Max & HunTinG won.
