Heist Minigame | A Guide to the Event

This is a minigame made by the prop owner of 109, =KFt=KuRuMi^, in terms of helping out the event staff team to use this minigame for event use purposes. This is all about the criminals taking the loot from the bank vault, while the police of Vice City defending it whoever gets their hands on. There is instructions given at each team spawn (the cops and criminals). An event staff member is ONLY allowed to host the event and ensure nothing goes wrong with the prop.

To start the event, be aware that each team, cops or criminals, have a minimum number of 2 players and we'll equally balance them as much as possible. Once a participant chooses its team, they will be taken to their base to gear up.


Their is an object blocking the exit of their base, leading to a telepickup. Once everyone is ready, you wait for further instructions to the host (event staff member).


Preparation of the Minigame

Like previously said, ensure everyone is ready. Team communication is vital. The host will be waiting on a platform, a control panel for managing the server and moderation for any shenanigans. Once everyone is ready, the host will release both teams, marking the start of the event.

Rules
   

• Law enforcement aren't allowed to camp at the vault floor.
     
  
• A player isn't allowed to go out of boundaries to gain advantage of shortcuts. The host will be asked to that player to move back to his spawn, otherwise he'll be disqualified.
     
  
• Players who remain idle at their base will be asked to participate, otherwise they'll be disqualified.
     
  
• Criminals aren't allowed to use /p sv as a shortcut to transport criminals in a very short period of time (this might be deprecated in the future if we support a way to determine the driver.)
     
  
• Players who kills the host frequently will be disqualified.
  

Gameplay

Players will spawn outside of their base and commence to the bank. The goal for criminals is to steal 1M from the bank and to deposit back to their base, while the law enforcement prevents that from happening. Vans will be aid upon the start of the event. The bank will have some guards for defense. Through the elevator at top floor of the bank leads to the bank vault. A gate is currently closed up; it takes a while to open the gate. Once open, criminals takes part of the stash and must return safely to their base. The cash pickups have a 30-second cooldown and one criminal can only have a maximum amount of 1/4 of the whole stash per a time. Teamwork is required in this case so communicate wisely.

Criminals have access to the /p sv command, allowing them to bring one of their vans in two occasions: entering the command nearby or at the bank will spawn one of the vans outside of the bank, parked at the sidewalk, and entering the command nearby or at their base will return the van back to its original spot (I advise to read the rules in regards of this command). The command supports a cooldown to avoid command abuse. Criminals who die will loose their cash

Once criminals made it back their base, there will be a deposit station ahead of them to deposit the cash in a safe place; there'll be no way to withdraw or loose that cash once deposited. If criminals manage to have a total amount of 1M, that makes them the winner. On the other hand, failing to do so after the timer will automatically make the law enforcement the winners.

Purposes for this topic is to make players understand how the game works because I encountered some issues where the criminals didn't knew how to transfer the loot to their base, so this will be useful topic.

As said in the Hotwire event topic, everyone is highly recommended to read this topic to prevent wasting any time explaining during the event. It'll loose participants patience and most likely exit the event.

- Removed checkpoints
- Security guards now fire, except the one near the vault.
- Camera pickups has been added for comprehension.
- Added an extra vehicle for the criminals team.
- Marked the location where the loot bags will be transported.
- Added a camera pickup to determine whether the bags transported or not, near the vault.
- Set death messages to the security guards.
- Edited the rules a bit.
- Changed the property's spawn location.

Update 7/24/20:

- Adjusted the rules.
- Criminals now support /p sv to bring one of their vans under some circumstances.
- The guards have been remodeled.
- Replaced the cash transportation system using cash pickups.
- Implemented announcements and sound effects as signs for many scenarios.
