i just said in main chat "HHHHHHHHH" "HHHHHHHHHHH" twice and he muted me for 'spam', what's more is that i didn't spam intentionally.
there's a reason for auto-mute system isn't it? it's to auto-mute real spammers.

All players are equal to Admin i muted u because u spam 2 times mute u for only 3 secs or 5 than i unmuted u what a waste of time u got and u always spam.

Here is the spamming rule:

Spamming: Spamming by repeating a message or by flooding the chat with messages, is not allowed. Anyone who is caught spamming frequently should be muted on the first offense, kicked on the second offense and finally temp-banned on any subsequent offenses.

So according to the rules you were spamming since you repeated a message, but I feel there is flaw in the rule since saying a message 2x times is not really spamming according to my personal opinion. I will raise a discussion among management so we can clearly specify how many instances of a message is considered spam.

But I want to confirm from Max if you spammed (repeated 1 msg x2) multiple times or only once in the session and that will help to determine if mute was just or not.

Just that once mate. I know for sure because I was playing before max joined the server and judging by the logs I have, that is the only instance of him spamming. In other words, the mute was based on that.

If he repeated 1 msg 3 times at a time then it is 1 instance of spam and so it's not multiple spam and can't get mute. If he repeated a message 2 times and after few mins again repeated 2 times then it would be spam. Also I don't want to deal with old cases just for your revenge, we are discussing in management and will soon fix the rule.

Mate, in both images, it is showing 1 instance of spam because there is no gap between them. If there is a gap then it would be 2 instance of spam and can mute. Also we're working on the admin respect rule so hopefully it will solve your problem.

After your verbal warning, did he continue spamming in the same session? And past logs don't affect the case, if there was a time you had to mute him, but didn't so it's your fault. You can't get away by muting someone wrongly by saying you didn't mute him before when you had to.

Anyways on topic, if he spammed 2 times before the mute which you witnessed in this session then you are right to mute.

To be honest, I also misinterpreted the rule in the beginning of this report and was about to deny it, but because of the word 'frequent' it is clear there had to be at least 2 instances of spam. If frequent wasn't there then you muted rightfully because there is only 1 instance of spam by Hunting in the session which you witnessed.

Mate, in both images, it is showing 1 instance of spam because there is no gap between them. If there is a gap then it would be 2 instance of spam and can mute. Also we're working on the admin respect rule so hopefully it will solve your problem.

After your verbal warning, did he continue spamming in the same session? And past logs don't affect the case, if there was a time you had to mute him, but didn't so it's your fault. You can't get away by muting someone wrongly by saying you didn't mute him before when you had to.

Anyways on topic, if he spammed 2 times before the mute which you witnessed in this session then you are right to mute.

To be honest, I also misinterpreted the rule in the beginning of this report and was about to deny it, but because of the word 'frequent' it is clear there had to be at least 2 instances of spam. If frequent wasn't there then you muted rightfully because there is only 1 instance of spam by Hunting in the session which you witnessed.

Just that once mate. I know for sure because I was playing before max and judging by the logs I have, that is the only instance of him spamming.

So in that case a /mute was not the right punishment as the rules say frequent spam should be muted on first offense, but this is just 1 instance of spam. Spam definition currently is x2 of a message according to rules. Requesting Max to give his defense or acknowledgement.

I don't understand what defense u want server mute on 3rd attempt of spam or what i do /warn hunting or leave him or just say like always i say him dont spam hunting than hunting will stfu asshole case closed.

Clearly you didn't notice it as spam as you didn't take any action nor posted this log in the beginning of the report. I think the issue was that you saw him spamming and knew that you warned him many times before to not spam so you decided to /mute him. I won't blame you because even the rules don't mention if the frequent spam is supposed to be in multiple game sessions or just the current game session. And I won't blame Hunting because according to my personal opinion just 2 repeated msgs aren't spam, and in management we are discussing to improve the rule to avoid such misunderstanding in the future. Also it's a minor punishment (few sec /mute) and technically Hunting did spam 2 times in this game session according to the rules so we can't say the mute was right.

Lastly, I will request Max to read the spamming rule again if you have any doubts after this discussion. Also requesting Hunting to please control yourself in the chat whether it's abusing or spamming to not get put in these situations because this report could've been accepted if you have a clean history as a person who never spams or abuses then Max's case would've been weaker.

As I said that both are not to blame and as often when we have a report that raises a discussion in management the report gets closed since both parties are not to blame as the fault is actually in the rule.
