How to use the Court

Please read this carefully.

This section is to be used for disputes against reporters. It should only be used once an administrator has posted their decision and is awaiting your response. If a report is posted and you agree to it, this section is not used at all. However, if you disagree, you would need to request a transfer to the Court in the report. This is distinct from the Unban Appeal section, which is to be used if action is already taken.

After a case is transferred to the Court:
If you are the reported entity, you would need to post your claim immediately. If an objection is made, you would need to either dispute against it or accept prosecution. If you do not reply to an objection deemed reasonable by a manager within 7 days, you will automatically be prosecuted. You are innocent until proven guilty.

If you are a defendant, you would need to object to claims made by claimants and provide arguments on why not to prosecute the reported entity.

If you are a claimant, you would need to object to claims made by the reported entity. If you do not reply to a claim within 7 days, the prosecution is up to the managers' sole discretion.

How managers should handle cases:
You would need to post a report card every day stating every defendant (including the reported entity), claimant, defending point and claim. Once either the defending count reaches zero, the last claimant objection expires or the reported entity pleads guilty, you would need to prosecute the reported entity. If the claimant count reaches zero or the last defendant objection expires, you would need to close the case.
