[Updated] How to build a Custom Property (Guide)
Note: This is a guide for building a custom property. The script will be released tomorrow and the guide might be updated. Send me a PM is anything is wrong in the guide.
Guide
Step 1: Get 5 million in cash or reach level 1 in lumberjack minigame and it will be 2.5 million after that go to the place you want to build your property and Type /buycustomprop <Name> and a property will be created that you own.
More info: The property will be created in a unique world and you can enter it by using /proploc and view your property id with /myprops. Remember that you can always change your property location with /setproploc (just remember to save the new loc with /saveprop)
Step 2: Learn all the commands and keys that is provided below.
Step 3: Enable editing with the insert button and start creating objects with /addobject (ID).
Step 4:
If you don't know what x,y and z coords is you're going to understand exactly what each mode does when you try it.
- Press F1 to edit the x and y coordinate and use all the arrows.
- Press F2 to edit the z coordinate (how far the object is up in the air) and use the up and down arrow.
- Press F3 to edit the angle of the object. Num7 and Num9 is the buttons you usually want to use for editing the angle of the object. But you can also use the arrows to spin the object around in 3D space.
Step 5:
- Save your object by pressing P when you are finished placing it.
- Delete your object by pressing the delete button.
- Use /objectselect (ID) to select an old object for editing.
- Copy your object by pressing L and remember that the object that you replicated is placed at the exact same place as your old one and will most likely not be visible unless you move it first. (Useful for building fences and other things that needs to line up).
Keys, Commands & Other things to know
There are multiple ways like keys, commands and other things to manage your property. I am listing all the alternatives for each one.
Adding objects:
A list of models that Angel has found from two sources and by himself can be found here: Click
or you can use /infmodelsearch <Name> in game.
You have the alternatyve to go another prop and do /findobjects to know which ID is the object which you want.
Enable property editing:
Only works for custom properties.
Alternatives:
- Type /propedit while you're inside a property. Use /proploc to get inside the property.
- Press the insert button key to enable it.
- Type /addobject (Model) to add a new object which automatically enables editing.
Change edit mode
- Press F1 to edit X and Y coordinates of your object.
- Press F2 to edit the Z coordinate of your object (how far up in the air the object is)
- Press F3 to edit the rotation of your object (The angle it's facing in 3D space)
Move/rotate object
- Use the arrows (up, down, left and right) to move the object when in F1 or F2 mode.
- Use Arrows (up, down, left and right) and num7 & num 9 to change your objects rotation in 3D space. Num7 & Num9 rotates the object around the z-axis which is most likely the rotation you want to change.
Select Object
Alternatives:
- Use /objectselect Index. Where Index is the ID of your object where ID 0 is the first object you spawned that isn't removed. If you remove object at index 0. The object at ID 1 has index 0 now. For example.
- Shoot at the object to select it.
- Type /propedit or press the insert button to enable editing (and object with index 0 is automatically selected)
Deleting objects.
Make sure property editing is enabled and an object is selected.
Alternatives:
- Press the delete button.
Pickups.
You can add pickups to move an object, like you want open a door with a pickup, you can use them to do many things if you have a good imagination.
-/addobjectmovepickup.
This pickups moves an object selected to a loc position which you have saved.
-/addobjectmove2pickup.
This pickup can move an object to the same location of another object.
-/addobjectrotationpickup.
It can help you to make a door, it works like objectmove2pickup it rotate an object with the same angle of another object chose.
How edit any pickup:
You can change the position of any pickup, change level, or delete it.
-/removepickup
-/removeallpickup
-/changepickuppos
-/changepickuplevel
-/lockpickup
-/unlockpickup
-/lockpickuprange
-/unlockpickuprange
Other pickups:
-/addtelepickup

Buy custom car.
The first model costs 1 million so you need have 1 million in hand and type
/buypropveh <prop/id> <model/id> <color1/id> <color2/id>

you can get the colors id from here: Click
Make sure you are in editing mode, and stay on the posicion in which you want the vehicle spawn.
You can change the vehicle mode, color and pos with
-/setpropvehmodel
-/setpropvehpos
-/setpropvehcolor
Special features.
You can edit your custom prop as your wish using this features.
-/setprophp
-/setproparmour
-/setpropalpha
-/setpropweps
-/setproptele
-/setpropcarscmd
-/setpropattack
-/setpropdriveby
-/setpropheal
-/setpropradar
Other.
- Press P to save your object
- Press L to copy your object
- Press Num8 / Num2 To increase/decrease the speed you're moving the object.
- Type /objectalpha (Number) to change the objects visibility.
- Type /setproploc (Property) to change the location of your property icon (which also changes the /proploc to your property)
- Type /proploc (ID of normal property) or /exitcustomprop to exit a custom property.
- Type /Lockprop to lock your propety and not allow to enter anyone anymore.
- Type /unlockprop to unlock your property and allow anyone to enter your prop.
- Type /setpropname to change the name of your prop.
- Type /deleteallpropobjects to remove all the objects of any prop you own.
- Type /propplayers to see who's in your prop.
- Type /propkick to kick anyone from your prop and /propkickall for kick all from your prop.

I call them custom properties, but really they are: Custom worlds. You are building your own world and not a property. (but you can only build 50-100 depending on what I decide on)
You don't need more than 1 world to build in so therefor you don't need more than 1 custom property. You can buy one per account and then you can become a shared owner at another property to build stuff there too.

You can' sell a custom prop , But you can edit it , in any way you want and can make it look attractive.
Everyone who has bought a custom property is requested to not waste his energy or time on editing the property and wait till VK.Angel.OfDeath fixes the whole thing to make it work perfectly or your stuff will be auto deleted after sometime , or after 5-6 rejoins or 4-5 teleports to your own prop.

Crystal was making a mansion for me on the island, but its gone
But the system is great and creative and I don't think any other server has this so great work
Even though there might be some bugs I would still like to appreciate the hard work of Angel and Crystal

The problem is that VC-MP can only have 3000 object spawned at the same time. This is why the objects in your property gets deleted when no player is there and then gets re-created when you enter it.
Looking at the statistic at the peak of the day we got about 15 players online. Usually there is 6-10 in average I would say. That maybe adds up to 15*50 = 750 objects in total if we assume that every single one of those 15 players are in their own property with all objects spawned.
Is it fair to assume that, is that going to happen when usually 25 % of the players are just random noobs or casual players and when a custom property cost 10 million we can most likely assume that some people owns a custom property together.
I will probably increase it to 100 objects and that will be enough. Since that would mean that 20-30 people would be able to be in a different custom property at the same time and I am pretty sure that won't happen. So as long as we don't get extremely popular and I mean even more popular then little whitney that has 40 players in it's peek it shouldn't be a problem.
I personally get stressed when I have 15 players to watch over xD I personally like having around 6-10 people in the server since that's a fair number, but I guess I am the only one .
Okay sorry for the long message most of this probably don't make any sense but I hope some of it did.

My bad it's just that I recently found out that a lot of people spell "sneak peek" as a "sneak peak" and I guess that was on my mind when I wrote this. To my knowledge and according to that graph to the left we usually peak at about 15 players everyday. I guess we had 20 players at some point in the past, but 30 won't happen. There is hardly 100 people playing the game at the same time

No.Your car is yours when you play. But when you're not playing the car belongs to the server and everyone has the right to drive it. If everyone stored their car at their property there wouldn't be any car in the normal world for people to drive at all which isn't good.
