[Accepted] Server suggestion - Pure DM world
I suggest making a dm world where there's not driveby / sea sparrow / hunter or anything that ruins pure dm fun. it won't contain custom objects unless someone suggests it , command should be something like /dmworld or /dm and replace the command already existing. this command helps for all people who like to just dm in peace without lagging or driveby , it will also contain commands like /lastpos /spawnloc. i request who agrees on this suggestion to give any ideas if he has to make it better.

Basically respawning at the exact coordinates you died at. Which is different to spawnloc where it depends on the coordinates you set the spawnloc at. Though it's not as reliable as spawnloc is because most of the time the command breaks and doesn't respawn you back at your death place.

/spawnloc could be useful for like team fights, if you don't want to spawn where you died at but a place where you have a loc which is safe and you can take good actions from there with your teammates. Spawnloc spawns you at a specific position. For ex if i do spawnloc at the police station i will always spawn at the police station.
But lastpos changes your spawn point every time you die. So you spawn at the last place you died at the exact x y and z.

Awesome suggestion, dude! Plus, there should also be a VCDC server's lag free dueling ring, that now can be useable by typing the cmd 'laggercave' in their servers. So we can have our duel matches with an outstanding smooth, 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 experience. And Angel should also implement all the cmds '/lastpos on/off ' , '/spawnloc set/del' not only in /dmworld (or whatever the name will be taken of cmd) but in the Whole Server!

A clear world have no objects no cars no Fighting helicopters and frags limiting grenades.
I agree with that will be a great.
/lastpos is to spawn where you died.
/spawnloc is to spawn where you had set it, like i set spawn in Golf i will be spawned in golf.
It will give us more Comfort in DM-ing without lag or any annoying things.
I recommend it away from prop functions to make it less lagy as well.

people don't use it too much unless we event staff members host events or they go for it. it's custom builds and locked arenas so i dont think someone would prefer that over blank world. also for my suggestion , there should be ping and fps limit to stay in that world , 500 ping and 15 fps is very enough in my opinion. blocking from attack doesnt affect when the player ping or fps spikes.MaSoN^ wrote:K2. wrote:How about a '/lw' command instead?

Lastpos works a little bit differently. If a person dies with Lastpos on, then enemies will know the exact position of their spawn, which would give them an advantage, and a chance to spawnkill. People usually respawn around the place where they died, rather than in it.
How about no crouch, no molotovs or other throwables to add to the pure DM experience?

The ability to travel between worlds is one of the most distinctive feature of the server, so I don't think it should be a problem as long as the 'pure' part is properly enforced.

I don't think this will divide the server as much as it will unite it. Rather than creating a third world, it can unite the people of the various different custom properties. There are over 700 custom properties, and most of them are DM props. That means that people will be spread across many of the props in DM. With this feature, we can make sure that there is a common DM area.

Proplocs are managed by players most of times and they can add / disable whatever they want, arenas and DM places are closed places and that's what you need for long range fights or a CW / big fights. about dividing, there are +900 proploc and for this world you call it dividing? no it will get more dmers interest to play in that world without any driveby or heli cannon that doesnt let player play in peace, if you want the server freeroam then you have to give some perks to DM as wellUmaR wrote:SparkeR wrote:UmaR wrote:Actually... -1

Um that's doesn't make any sense as we can make proplocs with the same specifications
My idea is to make a ranking system custom weapons and more stuff.
This idea is by ShadowJack
Making 3 of difficulty Easy, Medium, Hard
Easy: Unlimited Ammo and 50% Armor. But takes 5 XP for the single kill.
Medium: Lower Ammo 25% Armor. But takes 10 XP
Hard: More limited firepower no armor. But takes 20 XP
What is the XP for?
It's used to unlock custom weapons which have more advantages
The unlocked weapons can be used in the world 1 as well so players get the passion to play at that world
And adding AirDrop crates and stuff to make it more fun
I know it's more similar to EC Server but that's what people love.

Making 3 of difficulty Easy, Medium, Hard
Easy: Unlimited Ammo and 50% Armor. But takes 5 XP for the single kill.
Medium: Lower Ammo 25% Armor. But takes 10 XP
Hard: More limited firepower no armor. But takes 20 XP
What is the XP for?
It's used to unlock custom weapons which have more advantages
The unlocked weapons can be used in the world 1 as well so players get the passion to play at that world
And adding AirDrop crates and stuff to make it more fun
I know it's more similar to EC Server but that's what people love.

Implemented for the next patch the world can be entered using /dmworld and left using /leave.
/spawnloc and /setspawnloc on/off will be available. There will be no restrictions on teleport related to sprees, no driveby, no hunter, hydra or sea sparrow. /distance will be disabled.
