July 2018 Update - Rel006 switch, next patch? More patch news and about me?

Rel006
It feels kinda annoying and boring that we are still in this version. I have done basically everything I can by now or basically have started on everything I can implement. All the other servers by now except those weird letter ones have switched to rel004 or rel006. Kinda feels like we are left behind. I have checked and investigated that most of you play on rel004 and rel006 servers as well, even Hunting who is so against a switch.

I am also kinda tired of some of the bugs like the pickup issue. Hopefully rel006 fixes that issue. A switch will happen at some point I got everything ready. I am kinda waiting for more updates to be released for rel006 and have even reported an issue that I found to the developers.

I kinda feel like it's simply not an option to continue with rel003 anymore. I am of course willing to hear people from the other side, but even though I am person who likes to keep everything as it is for as long as possible, even I know that something can't last forever.

Check it out. Personally I want to add something completely new and interesting, but that's kinda hard to do because it's hard to come up with anything. It just feels like I usually get stuck scripting systems that people don't ask for or they don't want to use. I kinda need to make something fresh and quick, which is why I am taking a look at some of the suggestions now after being finished with the property stats system.


MiniGame Creator
What do you guys even feel about this suggestion. If I make it extremely easy to create minigames that no one to 100 % can fail is this a feature you guys would want to see. I have been working on it from time to time but haven't really taken my time with it. I might get it done by the end of the summer.


About me
I feel like I script too much and am not too involved with this community, I am going to try to see if I can make some cool events and just play the game more often. Feels kinda quiet around here nowadays. I kinda missed the days of the 2015 and 2016 event. They took a lot of time and effort to make, but they were fun. I keep scripting this game for you guys but never play myself which just makes me sad from time to time, which is why I want to write this and try to be more involved.

Same man, but 2015 was different. Everytime I join the game nowadays I just get stressed out by noobs spamming me. I don't think it's fun anymore, also I been getting kinda tired of scripting once again. Hardly done as much as I did in june. Need to start testing more stuff also, that should probably get me going again. I want to make another event and I have prepared some stuff, but we'll see.

Might try better to play more with a potential 2018 event, but we'll see.

I made no promises it would be released when it was done. I already said it was done. It might need some final testing that will take 1 day or something, but I haven't released it yet.

I need to be sure the GUI works as well. Also GUI scripting is consistent. Thunderhead got errors doing the exact same thing as I did because his PC was slower and his ping was higher. I hate when VC-MP scripting does that. Same thing happened to the anti hack system. Works fine when I test it a billion times but as soon as you get a paki guy with 10 fps on the normal server all the rules of logic doesn't apply anymore and the script start acting differently.

Minigame creator has nothing to do with rel006. I haven't started working on it yet since I first started with it, but I've had a few ideas.

I really want to see how rel006 works. I don't play on any other servers cos of not having time. I hope you will upgrade it to rel006 asap. Also, tell marcus bot to host LMS event more often.

Well I think they had a lot of chances to come back to the server without hack's.
If you ask me I would give them 1 little more chance to see if they are a little bit loyal or not.

Yes unbanning, perhaps not everyone but old banned players might be very good. Isn't this topic outdated xD.?

First you should update to the 006 directly, it contains some security flaws fixes and more usefull than 003 that
- got a lot of bugs
- eats a lot of bandwidth
- synchroizing is unbearable
about the minigame creator its amazing thing i think but i want to discuss with you about scriptable worlds.

when 006 released i got problems. i can't open any 006 server idk why. idk if that issue fixed or not but Do what u see it's better for the server.

re-downloading browser might fix it since browser updates were launched too.
