Server Patch 4.4
Note: Most of the work on this patch has been put towards the /cop job. Hopefully you guys will enjoy it. I have the summer now to really take time to script things, which means new systems that take longer to script. I got really creative with the cop job, but kinda got bored scripting it there in the end. My lesson for next time is to not add dialogue and just add objectives. Hopefully the cop job (except the story and choices) is a lesson and start of much better jobs.
What's next? Hopefully something that doesn't take too long. I want to push out more patches now during the summer. Most people are either starting school now or starting their summer as of maybe 2-3 weeks ago. I'll also just perform some tests to make the version we use compatible with the new version.
What didn't get added?
- I have some suggestions from the event staff and I didn't have time to properly design a system that is abuse free for the command /givereward. It's better if you guys just start posting money logs again.
- I can only add one job at a time. This time it was /cop. Next time will probably be another one you guys suggested and this time I won't take a month to script it since I won't for the 1000th time make something too big that is impossible for one person to script in time.
- bod 2 is coming in the future hopefully this summer.
Patch 4.4
General
New things:
- Added the /cop job. For more details see it's section.
- Added about 14 new NPC models that look like real skins. This gives us up to 19 models for custom property NPCs. Credit to Qais for making them.
- Added three new skins: Zombie 2, Gordon Freeman and Bigfoot. You can purchase them at the zone or unlock them like usual. They are placed kinda everywhere so just have a search through the zone.
- Added two new vehicles a jeap (4 wheeled bike) and a really fast sport car.
- Added /objinfo for displaying the description of each custom object model (6000+). A message will appear to use this command in /addobject.
- Added /ninfo for displaying the description of each NPC model. A message to use this will be in the syntax of /addpropnpc.
- The discord integration is fully finished and is now available in this patch. Only authorized users are allowed to use the chat for now, but all players can send messages to discord. Discord might be disabled again or /dsay might be used to send messages from the server to discord to prevent spamming/lag. We just have to test it. Management members will now be able to type /transferstats from discord. But a topic about that will be opened for them later to explain it and test it first.
- Added a new bullet type of the NPCs that has no collision (object 294). The bullet type is not round so I also made a script that rotates the bullet in the direction it's heading.
- Added a hit animation for when you get hit by NPC bullets.
- Added a secret easter egg script no one is smart enough to find... yet.
- Added /setpropimmunity for properties. With this command you can add immunity to melee damage, fall damage, fire damage, explosion damage, collision damage and even disable headshot pops (A shot against the head just decrease your health and don't kill you instantly) for the players of your property.
- Added /Setpropfpv. With this command you can disable the first person view mode for every player in the property (sniper and rocket can't be used if you disable it btw)
- /setpropradar now has an option that forces /radaroff on everyone in the property, useful for property minigames, where you want the players to always be hidden.
- /Setnpcrespawntime added to change the respawn time of a property NPC. You can also set the value to 0 and make it so that the NPC isn't even spawned unless you trigger the pickup below.
- /addnpcrespawnpickup added that can respawn one or multiple NPCs when they are dead. Note: If you make it for multiple NPCs, all NPCs will only respawn when all of them are dead.
- Added /fistfight, I have seen Rainbow making an event in a certain property and I thought I might as well make it into a minigame so Marcus can also host the event and give out VK tokens.
- Added /findipaccounts so admins can search accounts based on IP or part of the IP.
I believe 4k requested this a while ago and I decided to finally implement it.
- Added /fistfight into Marcus event selection.
- A new shark (the gang of course) skin has been added. This skin is from the beta version of GTA Vice city.
- A new menu for the shark has been added to fit all the skins there.
- A permanent warning system have been added. The system allows for admins to keep track of warnings made for reports.
- The command permawarns have been added to display the number of permawarnings someone has and for what reasons they were received.
- The command permawarn and permaunwarn has been added to add/remove a warning from an offline or online player.
- Added secret keys as the reward for the cop command ending 1-4. Try to figure out what they mean once you unlock them. You'll probably fail though, until I give some hints in a later patch.
- Qais is now credited in /credits as custom content creator & finder, since he has provided me with so much custom content for the last few patches. Without him we would lack a lot of custom content.
- Added an advertisement message for when spawning as team 6 that occurs every 4th spawn, telling people to check out /cop.
- /afklist added.
Improvements:
- Property pickups from world 1 is now only visible in world 1, so you don't have to see them in your property.
- /getcar has been improved thanks to some new math functions I made so that you don't get trapped inside a car. In fact the car will appear 3 meters to your right side (regardless of your rotation), which means that the driver door is as close as possible to you.
- Made it harder for innocent players to be detected as hackers.
- /propkick can now longer be used when you're knocked down from a shotgun shot.
- The minigame system should now give money to you if you have not unlocked an upgrade, however the amount of money was adjusted to 10 k per upgrade.
- VK token drop rate is now 10 % in properties, onehitkill and fist fighting.
- VK tokens drop rate is now 25 % in vehicle battles, since it's much harder to make a kill in this minigame.
- /playtime can now only be used on other players by admins since some players are using it to determine someone's alias.
- The taxi customer is now a different model.
- The taxi customer now enters and exits your vehicle in a much better way thanks to some new math functions I added.
- More information about the pickups are now displayed when you enter them in editing mode. (Like autotrigger and stuff like that).
- Changed around in the schedule of Marcus event. The propability for an event to start is now 2/9 for property events, 2/9 for a onehitkill minigame. 1/9 for a vehicle battle, 1/9 for a fist fighting minigame. and 3/9 for a random minigame one. This should add more variety considering that there are 6 different minigame events that can be selected randomly.
- Improved NPC checkpoints which means that you might have to re-do yours. Entering value 0 into the command now means that the NPC will move on to the next checkpoint within 1 second of his arrival on the position. Before you had to make a guess on how long it would take to move on to the next checkpoint, now that's done in the script.
- Slightly adjusted the damage and the fire rate of the shooter NPCs.
- /eventpm now has an alternative called /ep.
- Line blasters have been slightly improved.
- Added a message to /setproploc that says you should /saveprop to save the location, since some players seem to not understand that.
- The construction site pickups for secret of VKs now display a message telling you the color of the pickup you entered, so it's easier to find the pattern and not screw up the combination.
- Improvements added to provehlight, flip, alarm, lock and unlock so it doesn't display minus 1 as maximum id if the property doesn't have any car
- getaccinfo can now be used by level 6 admins to display information about an account like IP and such.
- /race now displays who won the race to the losers.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug that allowed you to ignore yourself.
- Fixed a bug involving teamup not giving any message if you sent a request to an unknown player.
- Once again fixed a bug in propplayers. It's amazing this command manages to get a new bug every freaking patch lol. Not sure why, I think it might be cursed. Hopefully it works now.
- Propvehalarm returned an error and it has now been fixed.
- Attempted to fix a bug with objecttype making it so you cant save objects. This might be an issue involving some IDs in particular. Just be sure to exit your property after you add your job and such.
- /addweppickup should no longer give an error in the script when entering the wrong ID.
- You should now receive 100 VK tokens when you defeat clegane. If someone ever does it again.
- Fixed a bug that didn't allow people to unlock the staff of VKs without 18 k kills.
- I eventually found the /cardealer /hint bug that made it so that the command didn't work when exactly 10 minutes had passed (it did work however after more than 11 minutes had passed). It's fixed now btw.
- Removed a message saying /me only works in a certain range, which is untrue.
- Fixed a bug that allowed /playercolumns to be used by players.
- Fixed a bug that referred some jobs to a minigame, instead of a job.
- Fixed a bug with propvehlight, propvehflip,propvehalarm, propvehunlock and lock returning an error when used from outside a property and on a property you don't own.
- Fixed a bug with /addobject 2 working for object 0 even though there is no object model 0.
- Changed the grammatically incorrect text in /aproploc.
- Fixed a bug with the unmute syntax saying /mute instead of /unmute.
- Fixed an error in /flip that were displaying "you've flipped your car" when used outside a vehicle.
- /addmsgpickup no longer has the use /saveloc message in the syntax that was originally added for the telepickup.
- /eventpm bug fixed again with it making database calls when it shouldn't.
- Fixed the /me syntax.
- /toplist now shows 1-15 instead of 1-14 that I forgot to change.
- (Released early) Fixed Fixed bug with /setproploc not working. This fix was released in secret about 2 weeks after the previous patch, so I just put it in this patch note since I haven't mentioned it before.
- Fixed a bug with the tournament not giving rewards. Hopefully it works now. Also the message Players still alive that marcus displays should be a helper to find out what's causing it. The problem I fixed was it registering players in world 1 as participants.
- The help icon found in the ocean has now been moved to team FFA. It was supposed to be placed somewhere else, but I figured that's the best way to put it.
Commands
/findipaccounts: Added so admins can search for accounts with an IP or part of an IP.
/fistfight: The command used to enter the new minigame fist fight.
/setpropimmunity: Sets the immunity of the players in your property. It's best to read the syntax of the command to understand it. But here are some values you can set (also available from the syntax): 1 = bulletproof | 2 = fireproof | 4 = explosion-proof | 8 = collision-proof | 16 = melee-proof | 32 = immune to falling down | 64 = immune to critical shot/headshot. If you want to combine them, you just add them together. For example 1+4 = 5 gives you explosion and bullet proof.
/setpropfpv: Disabled/enabled the first person view mode in your property
/dsay: The command that will be used to send messages to from the server to discord in case having every single message sent to discord causes lag.
/setnpcrespawntime: You can now define the respawn time of an NPC by using this command. The min value is 60 seconds, but you can put it to 0 to only make the NPC appear when you enter a respawn pickup.
/addnpcrespawnpickup: You can define a min and max index. What that means is that it will respawn Index min to index max of your NPCs when all of them are dead. To just respawn one, you can enter the same value into min as max.
/permawarn: Gives someone a permawarning that sticks with the account.
/permaunwarn: Remove the latest warning.
/permawarns: Display how many warnings an account has and for what reasons they were received.

The /setpropimmunity thing is the most interesting, but you should not add him, it can be abused easy as F*ck and will make it hard for reports to report hackers.

Your concern is valid and something I didn't think about. But we can check the property ID when it happens.

1st question,why didn't you add /setpropfpv is for to disable M4/m60 FPV mod only?Sniper and RPG are kinda regular usable weapons which

Do you really think one will do a valid report in revenge? if sami is my enemy he will call me in his prop for fight with /setimmunity 1 then he will record me and then he can easily do /setimmunity 0 , even if you check logs still there are million excuses that can be made. you have to make a system 100% smart with no loophole. and same is the case with I can make an excuse that sami enabled setimmunity then disabled it after recording. Also when reports record they exit the recordong as soon as they record the related. not everyone will bother to pay heed to that. 1. Because I get my ideas from you guys and I didn't consider that. You can maybe expect that in the next update then.
2. No. Why? Because the rules don't support permawarn yet, we need to re-write them to do that and then the staff can tell what x amount of warnings will mean. For example 1 = Nothing. 2 = Temp ban. 3 = Ban or whatever.

The command can't be used while inside a property. If someone sets immunity = 1, it will apply to the other player too. Usually when you report a hacker, you stop recording when you die. If you don't do that then we can't judge it.

This patch contains a lot of hardwork. After reading all the update, I am happy to see the world 1 pickup's disappearing in properties. Hoping to see the server update to rel004 or rel006 in the next patch.

Immunity 255 can be still killed by python. Do it's not completely invincible, so like make a rule for that or something. Or make like if player immunity is 255 and killer wep is python. The killer gets auto killed like team killing.
