June 2018 Updates - Patch 4.4 release date and the future of the server

Patch 4.4 and 4.5
I already released a fix for the setproploc command without telling you guys so I think I will just release patch 4.4 around a month after the last patch which would be around 10th of june. From the 5th to 10th I will be hopefully scripting like crazy unless I lose motivation. What will this patch include?

I've spent most of the patch scripting suggestions so far. But I have also started working on the cop job. Which takes a lot of time. Making 50-70 different and fun police missions with NPCs ain't easy. I've only scratched the surface of it and started working on the first 20. I've also made some updates to the NPC system and some other stuff. However most it so far is as I said suggestions. In this patch I hope I can get the cop job finished and the rest of the time I'll use for more suggestions and bug reports. My last exam is friday 1st of june. From the 2nd of june to 10th of june I hope to be scripting to finish the cop job and do some testing. The cop job is very ambious so if I don't finish it in the time just be patient.

Some things might get pushed to 4.5. I was planning on adding my own suggestion as well and have already started it. It's something along the lines of secret of VKs but different.

Extra note: I unfortunately don't have custom skins and vehicles (at least that I am not aware of for this patch) so if you guys got any you want added please send me a link.

Rest of the summer
For the rest of the summer I hope to get as many things finished as possible. The minigame creator, bod 2 (and my own suggestion) and much more things that I can come up with.

Future of VC-MP and the server
It's true that VC-MP seems to have lost a lot of players just judging from statistics and from our server. However, VC-MP is not dead like some people seem to claim. As long as you guys still play VC-MP, it will still be here. Statistics will probably continue to go down and that's natural. Nothing lasts for forever and that's why eventually when VC-MP actually dies we are going to appreciate the good time we had here.

So what's the future of VKs and the updates? Well the reasons why I even continue to release patch updates is because I think it is fun and I am motivated to do so. I will of course still lose motivation and some of the fun if you guys stop playing completely and our graph turns into a straight line at zero. But right now from the graph I still see those 20-30 player spikes that last for 1-3 hours and even at our lowest points there seem to be at least 2-5 players online, right now that's alright for me. Oh and one more additional thing for anyone who hasn't been here since the beginning, let me tell you story. When I started scripting in 2012-2015 before VC-MP 0.4, the common player count was usually 1-3 players (including me) at maybe 6-8 hours a day and the rest empty. I remember when we had 11 players online at one time and I almost had a heart attack. Yet I still continued to script.

So will my scripting change depending on the player count? Well I might not make like a 20 player bod minigame, since that's pretty stupid. I am pretty confident a /bod will happen but I think 5-10 players is enough. Most of my focus will probably be on stuff you can do with few people, many people and alone. I will probably not make any huge team based scripts unless I come up with a really fun idea.

That's my word on it. I am not going to check my post for grammar issues and other stupid shit so just ask me any questions if something in my long post didn't make sense.

Nah that's not script related, it's in the database. However I could make an exception for your name in the script, but once again why would I do that when it's much easier to just use /unban.

You are being dishonoured towards your unban and not even accepting your mistakes completely.You clearly know that usage of Aimlock/Third party tool is strictly prohibited in VKs and it doesn't matter if this is your first offense.I won't give you any chance if you don't take your unban seriously and keep playing with me and I don't care how much time it will take for your unban.Why did you use Aimlock in the server(whole day,against others) while you already know that Hacking is a major rulebreak?

Well the server hosting cost is paid until like april 2019 or something. So it will technically be alive until then and probably for longer unless our player count reaches 0 constantly, which I hope won't happen.

Cooler cop skin? Have you checked the zombie cop skin? How can I beat that one.

Motivation. A group is being made who will work for revival of VCMP. In 0.3z, there were about 5k players online. To bring that situation, we need the real motivation.
