2015 Event The Big Announcement Finally Revealed!

General information

Introduction: The amazing race is an event taking place on VK's official server in 2015. The race is divided into 3 parts that every team has to complete within the time frame. Every team can choose when to compete and stop for the day. At the end of the event VK.Angel.OfDeath will rank the teams based on each teams total time for completing the event. Please note that only time spent participating counts to the total time.

An example to clearify:

Teams: You can either choose to be alone or team up with someone else. If you choose to team up with someone else then you'll not be able to compete when that person isn't with you. If a team consisting of 2 people wins, then they have to compete in a final round to fight for the first prize. The one who loses the final round will get the second prize.

How the competition works: The competition is divided into 3 parts each taking place on a different day (or time if VK.Angel.OfDeath got time to prepare it) that each team can decide. Each part basically consists of 5 tasks that is provided by VK.Angel.OfDeath one at a time. In order to get each task you have to find VK.Angel.OfDeath at 5 different spots. Clues as to where VK.Angel.ofDeath is currently located, will be provided.

The time will only be running when you're searching for VK.Angel.OfDeath and when you're doing certain tasks. VK.Angel.OfDeath will be clear through every part as to when the time is actually running. If you take longer than 30 minutes  to find VK.Angel.OfDeath at a certain spot or simply give up searching for him, then he'll teleport you to him and count that as 30 min of searching.

Every task can give you a maximum time of 1 hour. 30 min for the max searching time and 30 min for the actual task. Note that this is the maximum time, you're gonna be ready much sooner on almost every task, unless you really suck. Getting the maximum time once or twice is no big deal though for the overall time, since there is going to be about 15 tasks.

Rules

• No spectating.
  
• No command usage unless VK.Angel.OfDeath states otherwise.
  
• Do not help other teams.
  
• If you die and respawn, then you must use !radaroff. You're also required to without a question to type it in whenever angel says so.
  
• Remember the golden rule applies here too. (Check the server rules if you don't know what that is)
  

If you break any of these rules and believe me I got the script to check it then you will lose my trust forever, which will not only kick you out of the event, but also kick you from the staff (if it is serious).

Prizes
First place: All the rewards here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] & 100 million in cash.
Second place: 50 million in cash + Badge
Third place: 25 million in cash + Badge
To the rest: 10 - 5 million in cash.

Registration
You will be automatically registered with your partner (if you have any) when you start part 1. To start part one simply book a time with angel or just come by the server to see if he is available. Don't forget to tell angel if you're competing alone or together with someone else when you book a time.

Part 1 is available for 7 days from the 31st of december to the 7th of january. Part 1 will become available once again during the summer, but you have a chance to complete it right now if you're available. Part 2 and Part 3 will however only become available for a few days (during the summer)  once.

SPECIAL OFFER: Andriusas91 was the first one to claim the special offer of competing two days before everyone else. The offer is no longer available.

The event has started. Book a time with me or come in game if you want to complete part 1 in the next 7 days. If you don't have time to complete it now you got another chance in the summer.

Right now I got: NoX, Twilight + Spitfire and Rainbow (either alone or with someone else) who booked a time and I got NE.Crystal and VK.Andriusas91 who already started.

I was wondering if the rest of you wanna compete in the winter or in the summer? Please PM me to let me know (if you haven't already of course).

I'd like to thank everyone for competing and/or announcing when they are going to compete. A lot of you chose the summer which is fine for me. Right now 5 teams have competed or been confirmed to compete in the winter.

I also decided to give each team a name:

2. Team EWA - Extremely Wise Advisers: TLK.SAM
3. Team SM - Superior Minds: NoX
4. Team UFP - United Forces of Ponies: [MLP]Twilight Sparkle & [MLP]Spitfire
5. Team CCM - Code Cracker Masters: NE.CrystalBlue

I hope you guys like the names! the rest of you will get a team name once you compete

Btw I am locking this topic, since there is no point of anyone other than myself to post here.

I'd like to thank everyone who has completed the event so far. Right now everyone has gotten back to me regarding when they will be competing. Most of you picked the summer but about 6 teams picked the winter.

Right now Sam and Sufy are the only ones who has started the event in the winter and haven't finished it. If you guys can't complete it until the 7th of january then you have to wait until the summer or maybe if angel is not busy studying, then you can get another time later in january.

I am not sure if Sufy and Razor gave up and won't compete. Get back to me if you can guys. But i doubt anyone of you will.

More info? I will of course post a top list of the best total time so far, but take in mind that you've only completed a third of the whole event. So if someone got a couple of hours or minutes more than you, then don't give up. You got lots of chances to catch up.
