Introducing the advisor rank.

What is an advisor?
An adviser on our forum is simply someone who is just here to give out advise when it comes to the staff, the forum and the server. An adviser can view & reply to topics in the server admin section and the moderator section. Please note that an adviser got no power on the server and no power on the forum to give out orders.

Just to make this becoming an adviser should not be seen as a promotion and you sh

Who becomes an adviser?
The only people who becomes an adviser is:
1. People I trust & value.
2. People I know extremely well.
3. People who aren't (or never will be) active on the server, but still wants to stay in the staff/forum.

The Advisers
The persons I list below is now our new advisers. If you are listed below and don't want this position you can always leave the staff. But I promise you that you will just get less work as an adviser.

Why these people?
Sam is basically the definition of an adviser. He is busy IRL with school and everything. So that means that sam doesn't have time to play on the server or to reply to anything on the forum that he isn't required to. Since sam is very experienced and a good friend of mine, it of course means that I trust him and value his opinion enough for me to see a reason to keep him as my adviser.

Silence has left vc-mp and will not be coming back to the server, but will still visit the forum to talk/chat & discuss and reply to & vote on everything he needs to do. Silence is of course also a good friend of mine which means that I can trust him and he has been around for so long that he knows what's best forum and the server, which makes him a perfect adviser.


The job

• You need to vote on admin applications and on decision topics
  
• You need to reply to important topics that are marked with [EVERYONE MUST READ & REPLY]
  
• You need to visit the forum once a week or leave a LOA, like everyone else
  
  
• You need to check your PM's everytime you login and reply to them immediately (if it takes less than 5 minutes)
  

Last thoughts
You could argue that i should just kick these people because they are not doing anything. But the thing is that they are still here after all these years, voting on the decision topics, admin applications & the important topics i post every now and then.

I personally don't think there is any harm in keeping them in staff and just letting them be here on the forum to talk/discuss and vote on decision topics/Important topics/admin applications, because I value their opinions and want them to still be part of our community.

so can IRON WILL be an adviser?

Everyone knows everything about IRON WILL and you can trust IRON WILL and IRON WILL is not active on the server.

No, sam. You will just be an adviser from now on, until you start playing on the server again. The only change that means for you is that you will:
1. Get a new color on your name and a new rank title on the forum.
2. Your name will no longer be listed on the server staff list and will instead be listed on the forum staff list under adviser.

You will of course:
1. Keep your level on the server.
2. Still be able to view the moderator section and the admin section.

I am not demoting anyone or changing much of anyones power. I am just creating a brand new rank, that I think would fit you the most.
