I mean the syntax, its a personal taste, I like uskng {} more( exception: lua/qbasic). That's why I like JS, Java etc more than VB. Python is new, but still does the work.
The best thing is to first think about the language you're going to use for your project, pick the one best suited for it. In other words, learn as many languages as you want, but use it wisely. Do not stick to one language for everything unless you got no other option.
