February updates - Bad news + Patch 3.5 out next weekend + Talking about the future again.

Bad news
I've only got a few hours to script each week and unfortunately I have wasted a lot of it on NPCs. I honestly don't have motivation to finish the NPC script, because I want to add so much and have so little time. That means that there will be Little new content for you guys to do. It will mostly just be improvements, there won't be any new minigames, jobs or custom content (custom content doesn't take long to add so I'll probably just do it like 1-2 weeks after patch 3.5). That's definitely a Disappointment to me. Even though I made a lot of improvements you guys been asking for, not adding something big in a patch makes me disappointed. I know most of you guys are just going to do DMing and will probably appreciate the improvements more the new content, but that's how I feel about it at least.

What's important now is that the bugs get fixed and I give the improvements to you guys.

Patch 3.5
I am going to push for patch 3.5 to get out this weekend. My plans today are to add as much stuff as I can, make the patch notes for posting tomorrow and then try to test as much as I can. Tomorrow I will do the final testing and release the patch. This is not a deadline, but what I am working for. If I feel too stressed or that I have more work to do, you guys have to wait Another week.

Future
I want to add some new minigames and much needed features. I'll of course focus on adding a few more custom content for the next week. I want to look into transferring to rel004, but the thing is I got other stuff I want to do first. rel004 will definitely be patch 4.0, but the question is how many patches I want to add Before that.

Something came up and I wasn't able to test Everything for the release. So sorry guys. But next weekend should be the release. After that I'll add some more suggestions and bug fixes of course like usual. (some custom content as well).

Maybe Another time. I am not done with them. It's not because it's hard to script it's just that it is hard to get motivation to finish it when there are so many other suggestions. This patch won't be as big as I hoped kinda like 3.3, but Another patch will come shortly after.

i have an idea to do that in squrriel
when player write /calladmin <message> it will save it in .txt file then my program will check every minute for that file if there any update it will upload to my host and siren will start in admin's program

if its just to export a txt then it can work, but :v where to export it :v
it could be exported on the host, but :v how your program will check vkrocker host e_e u will need to have acces to it :v

Don't feeel bad, Angel. Custom content and other awesome aon't what people enjoy. They care most that the server is still here available and that lot of new ppl join ingame from my fan-made trailer. Your welcome btw Wink

Well... with a lot of work, this can be done using sockets. You'd need to reimplement FTP however.

As said most people only DM, but to me not adding something new is a Disappointment, but there will be Another one shortly after.

Zeyad, here's the idea:-
Make a bot join the game, whenever someone types !report or something like that, or someone says 'hacker', send the message to whatever system you got.

Well, I like doing jobs like Lumber jacking and Garbage man but to be honest I mostly DM and collect money from challenges. Angel I appreciate your work. Keep it up dude.

That's okay, It's there as an alternative to DMing. I've actually noticed a lot of roleplayers/RPG players on the server that almost never DMs and only do jobs/minigames.

Make 2 worlds, 1 for minigames, rpg, parkour, stunts etc and 1 for DM with spawnloc. Maybe that helps. Because most of the newbies will join world 1 for fun games rather than DM.

It already works like that man. Minigames doesn't take Place in World 1. There are some spheres and map Icons for it in World 1.

We can't divide the playerbase if that's what you're asking. It's just stupid + we can't assume newbies know how to change World.
