It's not an Eid. It's just only The birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad, Peace Be Upon Him. In Islam it's allowed to fast Mondays and Thursdays.

I agree, there is something called Saheeh hadees, so we cant just make anything a punchline, so I cant completely swallow shaykh Thunder's fatwa here.

Acc. to my information someone in India came with his own religious occassion and that nothing like that is mentioned in the holy book of Allah if you visit Saudia Arabia 12th Rabi-ul-awal is like a normal day or maybe most people i guess don't even know that its the birth of our Holy Prophet(S.A.W)

You're right, it's a normal day here, but KSA is also not a perfect Islamic country. They create many laws that are completely against Islam.
