Six things to announce/talk about

Remember to look at the sum up if you don't want to or don't have time to read the text.

1. Still scripting, I'm working on a huge system (right now got 100 lines of code)
2. Working on FAQ and guides for the forum.
3. There wont be a treasure hunt event until june (read why in number 2)
4. Sometimes like 2 times a day the forum is down for 2 min. Does that happen to you?
5. There will be a topic of the month topic, but not always a decision topic, since I don't always have things to decide.
6. Going to my dads place until sunday, come to the 2nd host.

1. Scripting
You guys might have thought that I stopped scripting, but I've actually added a lot of stuff. I'm planning on announcing it on the next patch instead of announcing everything immediately after I script it. The system is very huge and involves big changes to the server. I have completed the first part of the system which is about a hundred lines of code. All I can tell you know is that each part of the system is there to balance out another part of the system.


2. Forum work
Right now I'm trying to make the forum more structured. Don't take me wrong the forum is very structures, but I always like to make it better. I'm adding command help, FAQ and guides, and all that stuff (plus updating the server info topic). I'm also planning to make a list topic where all the game ID's and other ID's is posted.

3. Treasure hunting event.
There wont be treasure hunting event in march, it has been moved to june due to:

1. I've found some really cool spots and made up really cool clues. But they are all a bit to easy. Which means that I need some break to really figure out some more difficult clues. It is possible that the next event will be much easier, but we will just see what happens.

2. You guys know that I'm busy in school and that the USA host is down which means that the server isn't on as much. So I don't really see why we should have another event at the moment when I'm hardly even home to host the server (apart from the weekends).

3. As I've stated before the recent event has been very hard. Only 3 out of 23 has completed it. Two of you are very close but I wont start a new event until at least 5 people complete it. If you come online this weekend I will help you complete it.


4. Forum downtime.
I've been experienced that the forum + the xe forum sometimes become offline for about 2 min sometimes. I just wanted to ask you guys if you've been experienced it too. I tried a site that basically checks if a site is up and I tried it once when the forum was down for me and the site said that the forum has been offline for 1 min.

This is of course not a problem at all since I just have to wait 1-2 min sometimes to connect. But let me know if you've seen the forum offline once or twice for a short time when you've connected.

5. Decision topic & Topic link topic . There will be a topic that lists all the months topics at the end of the month every month. But since this is the 2nd month with the system, I would just like to remind everyone that there wont be a decision topic every month unless we got some good thing to decide between.

6. Going to my dads place
Instead of wasting a topic of announcing this, I decided to put it here. I'm going to my dads place from friday to sunday the server will be hosted there.

1) nah i never thought that u have stopped working on scripting , i know u r a good scripter and u can do ur work up to date.

2) hmm our forums is based on free forums as because we don't have any donator atm but i hope when our server is fully released then we can get some donators and we can make or host a new forums like others , based on SMF and all.

3) TBH this event was the hardest becoz i myself wasn't able to find the treasures without angel's help , so i hope u make the next event more harder and we can have tough competition b/w , FAMILY Intelligence And Frndz Intelligence

4) Hmm XE and many more official servers are getting banned in Pakistan (my country) due to some security reasons so it's hard for me to say wut is the prob of not loading quickly or sometime not showing up.

5)Hmm good... it will be a headache to read all the discussions every month , so it's a good idea to have it after a gap rather then every month.

6)i have noted all the IPs regarding VKs , so it's not a prob for me to join when any host is working.

I think that the long text once again scared away most of the users. Added a sum up for everyone at the top of the text. It is only one sentence for each number.

I will be making a topic of all the changes in a couple of weeks when everything is finished.

I will probably stop reporting this in the near future, but I was the at the computer so I decided to do it anyway. Going home again the server will be up on the normal host in 1-2 hours and then continue to be hosted 1-6 hours from monday to friday. I don't have any update about the 24/7 host, but hope to get it soon.
