Solved [Solved] Help Please

Hello Guys, I hope you're all doing good,

I have one small problem, I have built a new Intel Core i7 PC and installed Windows 10,

However, I have also installed VC and VC.MP, but whenever I try and join a server, the game loads, but it gets stuck on the screen Connecting to: (the server IP) and it doesn't connect to the server, and I literally cant pause the game or close it or anything, I have to log out and back in of windows.

I hope you guys can help me,

Try some vcredists maybe?


I am also using win 10, never happened with me, not ignoring a fact, I never ran anything before installing vcreditsts.

Yeah, my old pc was windows 10 too I never had this problem,

I think your pc is old so he cant run games on win 10 becouse i have this issue too before somedays i am using Win 7 32bit
so my games work profect but i installed win 7 62bit my games stoped working so i install win 7 32bit again my games work profect again i think you need your old window Smile

Thunder i suggest you to run it on Windows 7 compatibility mode since i also have experince of errors playing Vcmp on wobdows 10. VCMP runs fine with Windows 7 so compatibility mode or install Windows 7, i'm afraid these are the only two solutions left.

first make sure to install these programs :

1-Microsoft NetFramework 4.6.1
2-Visual Studios (vcredist).
3-DirectX 12 since it's win 10.

then try sardar's advice to run in comptability mode win 7 and run as an administrator.

intel core i7 with some shitty graphics card can cause that problem. But, as Thunder stated that Windows 10 was working fine previously, so it would have been a lot better now.

Thunder, can you list the things I'm going to say?
1. What DirectX version are you using?
2. What DirectX is supported by your GPU?
3. Do you have DirectX 8? It's needed for old games like GTA VC.

KAKAN, it wont be my grpahics card, my graphics card is pretty good, I dont know by memory what directx version it is, ill let you know when im home.
