Happy 10 year anniversary of the forum/server!

I am kinda late with this topic. But it's officially been 10 years ago since VKs creation.

Just wanted to make this topic to thank you. It's been an amazing journey filled with lots of memories. I still remember when me, Harry and Andriusas91 just made this forum randomly on the 10th anniversary of GTA Vice City. Now the game is 20 years old and VKs is on its 10-year anniversary. It's insane to think about.

I will continue to host the server for as long as it's possible and hope you will all still stick around in the future. I've been very busy recently and haven't been able to work on the server. But got a few bug fixes in the work that I can hopefully release next week or the week after that.

Yeah [VU_R]Razor (which I believe was his full name) left in 2012 or 2013 so it was really early you know. Harry left long ago as well but has visited us here and there but not very often. Haven't really talked to them in ages.

There is pretty much just me and you left from what I know. The OG member from 2012-2015 is mostly gone as far as I know. The OG members now are considered to be from 2015 to 2016 but a lot of those people have left as well for university, work, or family. It is how it is but we are still here at least xD. It's a bit fun and sad at the same time to look back at old memories, it brings a lot of nostalgia.

VKs was the first server that I regularly joined back in my starting days. This server has an important place in my heart, it gave me some really amazing friends like Rule, Signal, Lancer, and Bird, ( just mentioning the early birds ), this is the place where I groomed my skills initially, and VKs is the server where F2 was started officially.
Most importantly, this server and community taught me about community engagement and being responsible, This is the only server and community where I joined the staff and that really taught me many things. It is really hard for me to see VKs dead right now, really hope for the server to be jam-packed with 25-30 people all the time and active staff members during all time zones.
Eventually, I want to thank you Angel for founding such a pleasant community and thanks to all the people who made this server the best in vcmp

Yeah true I am seeing LW having zero players today, so maybe the rest of the servers have the same issue but I haven't really been keeping up to be honest.

Yeah, I can understand the feeling of missing the player count, but you know everything has its time we have been going for 10 years now, and things don't last forever. But you know try to look at it positively VKs is at least still here. One day it won't be but I'll make sure to host it for as long as possible. I know bird is still around at least and a lot of the OG members still check the forum and visit the server on occasion.

Thank you, man, I can't take credit for the community I was basically just scripting a server for fun and people joined it, but I always tried to be a good role model.

Man, tbh your and the pioneering members' sense of impartiality and supportive behaviour has groomed every one of us, The staff has always been helpful and supportive towards newbies, this is exactly what differentiates this server from the rest. The journey has been a great experience, I hope we stick together through some means in the future too.
