As you see from the title, how about making /addrandomweppickup ?
i think it'll be good for Events and for people's fun as well.

basically, when you enter that pickup, (/addrandomweppickup) you'll receive a random weapon from VC's normal weapons (IDs: from 1 to 32).

So, what do you guys think?

Well actually you can do it by adding the pickups of all the weps you want make random then doing /addrandomtriggerpickup <list of index> of the random weps so i think no necesary this command

True but then there will be /addrandom followed by every single pickup I have ever created too and there is already almost 90 different pickup types.

If you use 33 pickups at least you got one of every weapon that you can re-use later. I feel it's worth the investment because after that you don't need to spawn another weapon pickup.

Also if you get level 2 in the event staff you will /setpickupfake. This will technically speaking give you an unlimited amount of pickups. But there is definitely a limit somewhere. If a property has too many pickups it might take too long to load. I tried it with about 600 pickups judging by that I feel like you can probably have a few thousand pickups with /setpickupfake maybe even 10 k if you need that many. Only 3more and whome got the level so far. But I feel like since you build a lot of events you should get it as well. However let's discuss this on the weekend.

The really heavy pickup usage is from probably objectmove/rotation pickup and previously: conversations. But now with /addconv that limit is reduced even further.

You have built a lot of events I know that, which pickups do you feel uses the most space? Did I forget any?

I Guess the perfect answer for this question is: it depends on which event you're making.
Example: if you are making lms then most pickups are weppickups
if you are making Parkour, then /addobjectmove2pickup and /addhppickup as well as /addcheckpointpickup.
if you are making a Race, then mostly, /addmsgpickup. (and sometimes /addbombpickups and maybe /addfreezepickup because of the latest patch)
so, i mean, the amount of pickups you should add to your event, depends on which event you are making.

And, that cmd will be for everyone, no need for special cmds)

1 More thing to mention: Every Event has it's own Pickups. (for me)
i mean, if i'm making a LMS i'll put some wep pickups, and if i wanted to make another event which needs weapons, i'll add another weapons and i won't use the old one, to make it easier to control event editing

what about non-event staff?:c

/setpickupfake is being tested still and might be available to other people in the future. But for now save pickups. You don't need events with 400 pickups unless you're making a story or something. If you want a property with many events? It's better to just have one property per event-

We can't have 500 different pickup commands. /addrandomtriggerpickup will be used for everything randomization.

You might need 1 to 32 weapon pickups but that's what you will need to add. If you got access to /setpickupfake you can use that as well. 1 to 32 pickups is a safe investment.
