Do any of you know how to solve FPS (Frames per secound) Drop solution?I'm facing this issue Sad

I know u are using FPS tool by Sami and Thunder_Bird
You are using Thunder bird tools and hacks and also barking on Thunder bird.

About FPS drops that's because of high usage of your chipest or Intel HD graphic or whatever. You better buy a good graphic card , it'll definitely fix your FPS drops.

Make sure to turn of frame longer off from offline vice city.
Plus try to change resolution in game!
Mason got many tricks to make fps problem end, pm him too.

But it's not always the PC's fault. Like in my case VC-MP kept opening a process that would use all of my CPU called "rundll32.exe", when I removed the file that was mentioned in this topic it stopped opening that process and my fps became normal.

rundll32.exe runs only in Vice City Single Player , but In VC:MP , I don't think so that it run even in VC:MP. Ye , Definitely It'll use much CPU , It'll show you the usage if you have Windows 10.

Well fps tool is useless now because most of the servers would detect you having a high or low fps either kicking you or disabling your attack ability in VKs case.

1). use disk cleanup on C drive by going properties of C drive and it will only remove waste and non-required files.

2). make sure you have installed good version of DirectX and VCredist.

Everyone in this community have enough PC specs to run gta vice city, there are many reasons for FPS drops, I had the FPS drop problem because of a corrupted external hard disk, or maybe its some custom gta3.img, ok try this thing, Copy your gta-vc folder to C drive then try to play and change its location in vcmp-browser than try to play

Well if you want 60 fps on your laptop/pc and want to enjoy VCMP then change your window to windows xp this is so good for you and it will not give you any problem i also used this window

I know it's an old topic, but recently I installed windows 10, and I also had some fps issues, which is ofc unusual since I have a pretty high end pc... like it would be stable at around 58-59, wouldn't reach 60...

the fix was /setconfig game_framereserve 20

thought it may help someone out, if anyone has been having similar issues...

Yes thuner whenever i install new windows i also face the same issue
Fps will be at 58 or 59
I recently installed win 10 and again it was the same problem but it was fixed automatically after 10 to 20 days
And updating drivers can help

Lol i would suggest you guys for not to use windows 10 because in some pcs like mine gets hangs and gets fps drops but if u use windows 7 or 8 it will give you far better performance in gaming than windows 10 does. Use windows 7 its better.

Well the problem was I used to run enough apps in the background, mainly chrome/Youtube. I didn't know that by using apps in the background can decrease FPS and my Windows was corrupted, having viruses. I got no answers other than "BuyingNewPC" answers. Someone who really tried helping me out was MaSoN and few other guys. But yes, if you don't have corrupted windows, non-virused and no apps running in background then it's your PC's fault.

Some retards even blamed me for using 'FPS Tools' when I didn't even know if they did exist.
