There is discussion about reducing the health of the Sparrow and Hunter to 500 because I am too pro. They might also make it visible on the map, so /radaroff will not work.

The already increased the waiting time to 30 minutes (probably because of me), and now this.

Sorry I ruined the hunter and sparrow for everybody else.

Maybe I should be proud, I am the ultimate pro killer... so good at killing they have to re-write the code of the game and create a new update because of me.

That is just a suggestion, and Angel is not that stupid to script that health would be reduced after 4 kills.

I am not reducing hunter health because then there is no point in having it on the server if I do. Also how would it exactly make everything better? The real pro's avoid taking damage using certain techniques. What this suggestion would lead to is that the pro hunter users would need to adapt and get better so they can make more sprees (which they would do very fast) and the noobs would lose the hunter after 1 or 2 kills probably if even that. The hunter currently has 700 HP because I had to make it so it becomes unusable at 300 HP so that no one forces a repair on it by an old VC-MP bug.

700 HP and 30-minute cooldown. Sounds reasonable.

The only suggestion I saw in that topic that seemed reasonable was to disallow /radaroff. Maybe they could argue for a cooldown increase but let it be as it is. I guess what most people don't accept is that the hunter and sea sparrow allows a less skilled player to kill them. They want everything to be about skill, which is fine. But if I only had a shotgun and m4 I would never be able to kill Max with his huge lag unless I got extremely lucky. We need to be able to kill Max and nerds like him that's what is important.

I am open to suggestions for disallowing commands and for increasing the cooldown of the hunter unless some issue with the current system is presented in great detail.

On-topic: well, don't be so proud. Before your joining, I made a long detail topic of the problems that might result in my withdrawing from vcmp (even though I felt in between that I lost interest in it) and it included about driveby and hunter/sea sparrow. Since angel doesn't want to remove these, I've been trying to make suggestions to reduce the advantage taken from them in order to make the game fair. So don't think that it's your fault. Also, in order to keep my interest in vks, I also made scripts for angel that keep me indulged with vcmp so I don't have to leave the community. Many of you don't know that I am on LOA due to exams. When I get free time, I spent that in scripting even though I got a way better games then vcmp. So the main purpose is to keep my interest in vks especially. If you play LW, EC, CTF and other servers like this, sea sparrow and Hunter are not there.

If the hunter is shooting you ... STOP CRYING AND SHOOT BACK. With some concentration, you will kill me in 2 minutes. A few guys are good with rockets, they always get me, or with a sniper. It is a better option than crying and asking Angel to re-write the code for the game.

That's one annoying thing about using the hunter and sea sparrow. People crying all the time at me, but none of them try to shoot me!!! I'm like: 'dude, you have 20 guns, and walls to hide behind. Use them. Crying at the hunter will not explode it.'

It's so easy to use the hunter, I am just flying around enjoying the game and only one person shoots at me the whole time. confused

When I see a hunter or sea sparrow I don't stop shooting until that n00b is DEAD! (it takes me a few minutes and it's really fun). Sometimes I even hunt the hunter with a normal helicopter and kamikaze myself, killing us both.

By the way, when I am on the ground, I can kill hunters and sea sparrows even if their radar is off. So I don't think the radar should be forced on. Unless Umar really starts crying a lot and threatens to quit VK server or something.

I appreciate the suggestions. But as you said the hunter and driveby will not be removed. I opened to nerfs but the health suggestion will not help as I stated even if the hunter has 1 HP someone will still learn to master it and use it to make sprees. The rest will not want to use the hunter at all and we could just as well remove it. So to summaries I believe the HP thing will only make it less likely for noobs to use the hunter/sea sparrow and will not affect the pros.

It's better to restrict commands. If you got more suggestions feel free to post them. Right now the only one I feel like would be a good thing is radaroff and maybe some other commands.

Also thanks for your scripting contribution.

If it did happen, why didn't you report me?

You have to remember with the new update, if you are in the hunter/sparrow and somebody destroys it, you don't die. You are ejected with 100% health.

I am ejected and land on the ground, now with 80% health after landing. So... if I decide to quit after that, maybe I am bored, and I don't want to wait another 30 minutes for the hunter, it's a death evade?

Do I have to wait where I land for you to come and shoot me? I could be waiting for 5 minutes, because some people shoot me from like 1 kilometer away.
