Denied [Denied] Server Suggestion - Disable prop seaways

Since VKs server was released Seaways became a permanent thing in VKs server. Well, let me explain Seaways , It is a cheat used in single player game where you can drive cars on water. But the big problem is that some players Cheat on race events, Well sometimes a race is lined with Car racing, boat racing etc. When they come to boat part they just skip to enter boats and just go with cars and sometimes the editors adds the road on top of water. In this situation players take advantage of Seaways and uses the shortcut.

Since as an event staffer I realised that there should be a command like /setpropseaways which allows us to enable or disable Seaways in custom property. I guess with this command, fair racing will be there. Now Let's see your views about it.

Not possible. Driveonwater is a server setting which applies to every player, world, and car. It can be disabled for an individual world (prop). Same with weather and time.

In addition, this issue can be solved with a method, you might've thought with less hopes on this concept, blocking away the edges to the water source with invisible objects, unfortunately that I know of.

As someone pointed out there is probably not a way to enable this in properties only.

Some of you seem to make fun of me or called me ignorant when I say this but: This is a feature of VKs. People who play here expect to drive on water. It's part of the identity.

I believe the server settings, the spawn screen, the vehicles, and skins are at the core of VKs. Would you guys still called this VKs if changed all settings, switched the position of all vehicles and changed all the skins and spawn location? Probably not.

When it comes to question like should you change something that is at the core of the product? If you go to a hotdog stand for 5 years and then they suddenly start serving burgers; Would you be okay with that? Some would have the perspective: it's about time they start selling something.

Others will have the perspective: You always served hotdogs so why did you change that all of a sudden.

VKs strive to keep the "hotdog", but to also serve "hamburgers" if you get my idea.

If I remove driveonwater some people will be like: "Finally that shit was annoying".

Others will be like: "Driveonwater has always been enabled on VKs why the F*ck change it now".

So do I respect the original core of VKs by not changing it or do I change it. I don't know about you, but things that stay original to its core ideas are usually more successful in my opinion. Because no whatever I choose I will either get people that are tired with it and quit playing or people that are upset with it and quit for that reason. I don't think driveonwater would really have this effect, but I think changing one core feature might lead to another changing until the original ideas are lost.

You have nothing to apologize for. The suggestion is great unfortunately it is not possible in VC-MP. What I was mostly replying to is whole "disable seaway for all worlds".
