Questions from the scripter 2018-05-03

Hello please answer these questions. They're some known long time bugs that most likely depend on VC-MP and lag, but that I want to make sure gets fixed eventually.

1. Have you noticed that you spawned in the wrong skin, for example when selecting a custom skin or at any other occurences? If so can you please provide me with details like: How often it happens, when did it last happen, on which skin it happens or any other important details?

2. Have you noticed that you don't spawn where you're supposed to? If so when does it happen, how often and when did it last happen. Please include any other details that might help me to get to the bottom of this.

Bug no 1 is fixed it didn't happen any more
No 2 bug still happens it happens when you're in prop and suddenly you spawn somewhere else and it also happens when you are in mini game e.g onehitkill,in duel minigame also and all other fighting mini games

1. Ok just as I expected it was probably that you guys pressed space before you spawned that made you select another character. So the 10 second variable that doesn't let you select a skin until you've been unspawned for 10 seconds seem to have worked.

2. As I have expected I am pretty sure it has to do with lag/ping that you get teleported by the script, but your client doesn't always end up there. It's quite dangerous to mess with and have the script re-teleport you.

The best thing to do might be to implement pickups that are placed exactly at your spawn position that when you enter them, you get teleported to where you're supposed to be teleported to.

Can anyone who has had this problem tell me how long it takes for you to spawn? 5-6 seconds, 20-30 seconds?

1. It happens rarely. And it happens with every skin. When I take it sometimes it says failed.
2. I'm pretty surr that's cos of lagging. It happens everywhere except if u r in world 1.

1. You're saying that it happens with the Cuban skin for example? or any skins with lower ID than 200? or are you saying it can happen with every custom skin (ID over 200).

1. Yes I have, for many times.

Usually whenever I choose a skin with menu like Random skins, FFA, Team Yellow - Construction Worker, Team Light Green - Phil (Robber). Example, I switch to team yellow and take SpandEx guy (Builder [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] as it says in the menu) when I die and respawn sometimes my character/skin changed into default construction worker, the fat guy with white tank and yellow helmet. And btw I always press fire button to spawn and I never press space button.

To get my SpandEx guy back or any other skin I choose in another team, I usually do /wep and then press fire button until I get the message "Please wait 2 seconds" then it will be back to the skin you've chosen on the selection screen.

Happens same this to me.
1. Usually with random skins
2. When in a prop or minigame(specially onehitkill)

1- Never happened to me! Cause i don't use custom skins so often.

2- Yes, It happens a lot. It does not occur in World 1.

I sometime use to take mario skin but I get default skin while my ping is better .

. Weird that it happens though might wanna take a look at it.

As far as I know, both things are related to packet loss, in-game press "F6" to check your packet loss, Who knows Smile
