November 2018 Update - Vote, Plans and being busy.

About scripting in general
The scripts have to become better and newer for each patch I make. The problem is that I don't want to add another delivery job that will just be the same as the garbage man and pizza boy job. I have to come up with newer and cooler ideas. It's been a busy month for me and I haven't had the energy to script quite that much. I have however been doing quite a few suggestions you guys have been asking for, for a while.

That's why I wanted to make this topic to briefly talk to you.

Planned patches
I have 3 patches that is coming up in the future that I have already planned for. Desmond, BOD 2 and the whole story thing will be wrapped up within 3 big patches, together with of course other content.

The next patch might be 1 of those three, but that's why I am here to write this topic. I've implemented a lot of suggestions you guys can have use for. If I were to divide my scripting job it's suggestions and my own big script of the patch. There has always been a big thing for each patch. The big thing for the next patch is not finished yet and I am not sure how long it will take. The big thing is always fun for me to do since it challenges me to do new things each time. The big things are usually jobs that provide months of content.

So the question is really do you guys want me to release a patch that we will call maybe 4.6.5 that contains just a few minigames and lots of old suggestions that you've asked for years, or do you want me to save it until the bod update is done.

I know you guys want this and I've spent many hours getting around stupid rel006 bugs to bring it to you guys. I have not given it as much focus as I can, due to me being busy and working on actual content.

Right now what's left to do is for me to spend 1 day implementing a fix for the download rate issue (as much as I can) and hosting the second public beta. We are slowly progressing to the release, I know it's slow, but that's how it is.

Now one seems better.

1 because the big patch will have a lot of new things already so until you are busy with the big patch, let us enjoy the small one.

I see most people just saying 1, but the poll is kinda mixed with just a few more vote's for 1.

If you guys want an approximation I don't think I'll be able to finish the big script (that is the largest and longest job I've ever made) until december. I hope you guys will stick around.

I might want to work on something this weekend if I feel like it, which might justify a full patch. But we'll see. I hope everyone here understands that suggestions are easy, making big scripts aren't. In the future you should expect to see less "big content" every patch and more suggestions. Some suggestions I've added are really useful. Two of which I came up with myself and I am surprised no one has suggested it before.

I hope all of you stay around to the end of the year and the next year, so I can finish the desmond story in 3 patches. After that, I guess we have to see.
